Jaguar Land Rover opens a new dealership in Pune
Jaguar Land Rover officially opened its new dealership in Pune, Maharashtra, India in partnership with Ace Perkins. This new dealership forms part of Jaguar Land Rover’s rapid and continued expansion in the Indian market. The new facility was opened by Mr. P.M. Telang.
The Pune dealership is located in Shivajinagar on the Old Pune Mumbai Road, a prime and upmarket area which is becoming a popular location for premium car consumers. The showroom facility spans over 12,000 square feet and boasts a 9 car display area, customer lounge and ample customer parking.
In addition, the dealership is supported by a workshop located in Wagholi on the Nagar Road that spans over 14,000 square feet with 13 service bays as well as a body shop and paint facility. A total of 60 employees will be based at these two locations.
Dr. Ralf Speth, CEO Jaguar Land Rover said, “In the fiscal year 2011-12, we achieved a sales growth of 157% in the Indian market and we want to maintain this momentum by heightening the awareness of our brands and continuing our dealership expansion programme. We are aiming to have 20 operational dealerships in India by the end of this fiscal year.”

Customers will be able to access the full range of Jaguar products including the XJ, XF, XFR, XKR and the fastest and most powerful production sports car Jaguar has ever built – the Jaguar XKR-S.
For Land Rover, it will offer the Freelander 2, Discovery 4, Range Rover Sport, Range Rover and the award winning Range Rover Evoque.
Jaguar Land Rover opened their first Indian showroom in June 2009 and now has 15 operational sales and after sales facilities in India. The dealership expansion plans forms part of the Jaguar Land Rover strategy to increase market share in India.
