BMW X1 facelift caught testing, launch soon
Just a couple of days back we posted of the BMW X1 facelift which is expected in India soon. BMW X1 is facing the heat from Audi Q3 which has stormed in the market with all 500 units sold in just 3 days of launch.
The German car maker has advanced the launch of the new X1 and the Sports Activity Vehicle has been caught testing in outside ARAI in Pune. The X1 gets masking tapes all around car which has managed to hide the new bumper

The X1 in India is currently available only in the two wheel drive version with two engine options. The diesel being the main volume generator.
The recently launched Audio Q3 has booked 500 bookings in just three days and the second set of bookings will also begin in a couple of days. The Audi Q3 is currently bought in India as CBU and the assemble will start only in 2013. Audi plans to launch the petrol variant in September.
So has the BMW X1 facelift launch advanced in due to launch of the Q3? Well this could be a reason as the Q3 is certainly going to be a threat for the X1 in the entry luxury SUV segment.
BMW has been quick with the new X1 and will also launch the new 3 Series in July which will take on the likes of the new Audi A4 and Mercedes-Benz C-Class.
