Mahindra unveils XUV 500 in Indore

Mahindra and Mahindra (M&M) unveiled its indigenously designed and developed sports utility vehicle (SUV) called – XUV 500. The vehicle’s ex-showroom price is Rs 11.83 lakh in Indore.

M&M’s monthly production capacity of XUV 500 has jumped to 4,000 vehicles, and hence the company is now extending its launch across the country, M&M’s senior manager, marketing, Ashish Malik said.

So far the company has launched the vehicle in 19 cities, and plans to do so in Patna and Jaipur, he said. All India booking for the vehicle would begin from June 8 through its 100 dealers. Bookings for the XUV500 had re-opened on 25th January across 19 cities in India.

The XUV500 has received a tremendous response from customers and reviewers alike. It has received 20 awards so far.
