Maruti Dakshin Dare, Maruti Suzuki Dakshin Dare Rally

Suzuki is all set to take ”rally motoring” to the southern states of India with its flagship rally ”Dakshin Dare” in Mysore. For the first time, the rally will see participation from an all women team, non-auto corporate teams and moto quads.

Mysore sets up the perfect location for the start of India’s most awaited Southern automotive rally! Maruti Suzuki Dakshin Dare flagged off from the beautiful palace of Mysore.

“This is the fourth edition of the Maruti Suzuki Dakshin Dare. The rally targets to connect Maruti Suzuki with the youth and motoring enthusiasts of the Southern states. Over 220 motorsports enthusiasts from across the country have come together to be a part of Maruti Suzuki Dakshin Dare and the vehicles have started arriving in the outskirts of Mysore,” the organisers said in a statement.

This year the ”Dare” will cross country the Western Ghats, come down to Deccan Plateau, go into Nilgiri”s Biosphere, back into Plains, into the foot hills of Nilgiris before returning back to Deccan Plateau.

It will traverse a grueling 2000 kms over five days of mud, gravel, forests, hills, plantations and tarmac between Mysore, Waynad, Ooty, Munnar, Coimbatore, Kodaikanal, and Bangalore.

Over 100 participants and motorsports enthusiasts across the country will see edge of the seat action in three broad categories Ultimate Cars, Ultimate Bikes and Endurance Cars. Leading auto manufacturers, racing teams and individual drivers as well as some first-timers have confirmed participation.
