All details, specs & images of the new Maruti Swift DZire
We were the first to post the spy pics of the Maruti Swift Dzire with compact boot in the morning and now we will share all the details and pics of the new Maruti Swift Dzire spied inside out. The official launch is February 1 and on this day Maruti Suzuki will announce the prices.
New Maruti Swift Dzire is based on the new Swift platform with a longer 2430mm wheelbase and length is just 5mm shorter than 4 metres which makes it qualify under the sub-4 metre category.
The new Maruti Swift Dzire will be available in 2 engine options: 1.2 K-Series petrol and 1.3 DDiS diesel engine. The customer will get a choice of total 6 variants to choose: LXi, VXi, LDi, VDi, ZXi & ZDi.
The new Maruti Swift Dzire will also get a first in its segment 4 speed Automatic gear box which also does the duty in the bigger SX4. However the Automatic transmission will be available in the petrol engine VXI variant only.
On the exterior side the car gets an all new bumper design at the front and new grille which will help to distinguish from the Swift. The boot is neatly integrated at the rear and the large tail lamps give the car a much needed appeal. It’s only on the side one can easily make out the car has a chopped boot which has a storage capacity of 316 litres.
On the inside the two-tone dashboard with beige interiors gives a roomy feel. The waterfall design dashboard is lifted from the Swift but also gets some wooden treatment.
The top end variants get Alloy wheels with 185/65R15 tyres while the first two variants come with 165/80R14 tyres.
In terms of features the car gets Automatic Climate control, driver seat height adjust, Seat belt height adjust, Integrated music system with USB.
