Tata showcases Aria AT concept, all details inside

Tata motors had one of the biggest displays at the2012 Auto Expo. The Truck to Nano maker showcased the Aria concept with Automatic transmission.

The Aria which has been in news for its low sales was also caught testing a couple of times with the Automatic transmission. The new AT concept also had captain seats in the rear, a feature which could also see in the already existing 4×2 and 4×4 variants on sale.

The USP of the concept was the 6 speed automatic transmission and retuned engine with 156PS of Power and 400 NM of torque. The 6 speed automatic transmission features a tiptronic gear selection with Sport, Economy and Cruise driving modes. The transmission also features Hill Hold & Descent control.  The Automatic variant will be available on both the 4×2 and 4×4 variant when introduced.

Expect a premium of Rs. 80,000-1 lakh on the existing price range.
