Rotocross to be held in Mumbai on January 29, 2012

Sportscraft is organising an Autocross event at the Somaiya Grounds in Sion, East Mumbai open for two and four wheelers and anybody can participate on the 29th of January 2012.

Conducted in association with the Rotary Club of Deonar the Rotocross will be held under the International Sporting Code of the Federation Internationale de Motocyclisme (FIM), the National Competition Rules of the FMSCI (NCR) and Federation Internationale de L’Automobile (FIA).

The categories for bikes are:

Foreign motorcycles up to 250cc – Class – 2 & 4 Stroke Group A

Motorcycles up to 165cc – 2 Stroke Group C

Motorcycles up to 165cc – 4 Stroke Group C

Motorcycles above 165cc upto 260cc – - 2 & 4 Stroke Group B

Scooter Upto 160cc – Group C, 2 & 4 Stroke Group C

And the four-wheeler categories are:

1. upto 1000cc – Group N+ Petrol & Diesel

2. 1001cc to 1400cc – Group N+ Petrol & Diesel

3. 1401cc to 1600cc – Group N+ Petrol & Diesel

4. 1601cc to 2000cc – Group N+ Petrol & Diesel

5. Above 2000cc – Group N+ Petrol & Diesel

6. 800 cc upto 1000cc – Group N+ Petrol & Diesel Ladies class

7. 1001 cc upto 1400cc – Group N+ Petrol & Diesel Ladies class

8. 1001 cc uptp1600 cc – Group N+ Petrol & Diesel Rotarian class

9. Open Class Indian + Foreign – Group N+ Petrol & Diesel
