Maruti to export Ertiga to Indonesia, launch likely in April

Maruti Suzuki is all set to launch the Ertiga MPV in April. The Ertiga based on the extended Ritz platform is global car and will see its second market as Indonesia. The Ertiga will be exported to Indonesia which is known as the MPV market on a similar note like the small car market in India.

The Ertiga in Indonesia will be launched only with a petrol engine option.

The Ertiga will have to break through the leaderToyota Avanza and Daihatsu Xenia, both very popular MPV’s in Indonesia. Suzuki also markets the APV MPV in Indonesia. However the Ertiga will be a more decent competitor in terms of features.

Ertiga’s compact dimensions make it easy to park and maneuver. Its active and dynamic stance from the outside, and the quality fit and finish and features in the interiors, enhances its appeal among customers.
