Will Maruti launch Swift Automatic?
Maruti Suzuki will launch the all new Dzire in India on the 1st of February. The new Swift Dzire is build on the all new Swift platform and will be available in the same engine options as the Swift hatchback. But the Swift Dzire will get something additional to the hatch, an automatic gearbox which will be the first in its class. (We are talking of the compact sedans only).
So we are speculating that Maruti may also equip the Swift hatch with the same automatic gearbox after observing the demand for the Dzire Automatic.
If launched the Swift will surely be a hit as the there is no much competition offered in the segment other then the Hyundai i20.
The market will slowly shift towards Automatic which is a very popular feature in most developed nations. The only concern could be the price and fuel efficiency.

Dear Kumar, Maruti has not launched the Swift Automatic but have launched the Dzire with AT option currently.
