Renault Pulse launched in India

Renault has launched the Pulse hatchback in India. With the small car Pulse, Renault India marks the entry in the small car segment. The Pulse is based on the Micra platform and will be built at Renault-Nissan’s Chennai plant alongside the Micra.

The Pulse is available in two trim levels and in diesel engine option only. The Pulse RXL is priced at Rs 5.77 lakh and the top variant RXZ is priced at Rs 6.25 lakh.

The Pulse gets more masculine looks compared to the Micra with sharper looking front end along with the prominent Renault logo. The Pulse gets an ARAI-certified fuel efficiency figure of 23.08kpl with a 2+2 year or 80,000 km warranty.

The Pulse is the first collaborative production of Renault and Nissan in the Indian market. It resembles the Micra to some extent but much sporty in nature.
