Hyundai Verna to get reverse camera std on all variants

Hyundai is taking a bold new step and plans to make the reverse camera standard on all variants of the Verna including the base variant. Currently the reverse camera on the Verna is standard only on the top end variants.

The base variant of the Verna will now be called the Verna EX. The company is looking to push sales of the base variant and this move could help the company increase sales. The Verna has been a success since its launch a year ago in the Indian market. The Verna has been posting sales of more 4000 units consistently and now has emerged as the segment leader ahead of the Honda City and the Volkswagen Vento.

The Verna prices may see an hike by about Rs. 17,000-20,000.
