Ford Fiesta AT starts at 8.99 lakhs

Ford India has just launched the Fiesta Automatic in India. The car gets a -speed dual clutch Powershift AT gearbox is a segment first. Only the petrol variant will get the AT gearbox and is priced at Rs. 8.99 lakhs starting and is available only in a new variant tagged Style. Ford has also launched new colour Paprika red and black leather upholstery on the AT variant.

The car gets Hill/Grade assist is another feature the automatic variant is equipped with also a first in the segment. This feature helps intelligent braking system and helps tackle inclines and declines easily.

The Fiesta Dual clutch also comes with the Creep function which is a boon while driving in crawling traffic. One can fully drive the by simple engaging/de-engaging the brake lever depending on the traffic. No need to push the accelerator pedal.

The 6 speed Dual Clutch helps provide optimal gear ratio, smoother shifts and better fuel economy. The company claims to have a fuel efficiency of 16.97 kmpl.

The Dual clutch has zero maintenance which one can be free for the next 10 years or 240,000 kms.
