New Swift Dzire launched, prices announced

Maruti Suzuki launched the all new Swift Dzire in India. The company announced the prices of the new compact sedan which starts at Rs. 4.79 lakhs and goes upto Rs. 7.09 lakhs for the top ZDi variant.

LXI – 4.79 lakhs

VXI – 5.32 lakhs

VXI Auto – 6.54 lakhs

ZXI – 6.19 lakhs

Maruti Swift Dzire diesel variants and prices (ex-showroom, Delhi)

LDI – 5.80 lakhs

VDI – 6.31 lakhs

ZDI – 7.09 lakhs

The new car, which will be produced from the company’s Manesar plant, will compete with Toyota’s Etios, Hyundai’s Accent, Tata’s Indigo CS and Mahindra’s Verito.

The petrol version will be powered by a 1.2 litre engine, the diesel one will have a 1.3 litre engine. An automatic transmission variant will also be available in the petrol version.
