Its Diwali time for Hyundai India. The company is expecting a surge in sales, thanks to the newly launched Eon and the strike which is taking a tole on Maruti Suzuki.
Hyundai which is the second largest player in India is looking a larger market share and has got very aggressive. The Eon which is currently launched in petrol engine only will soon get accompanied by the LPG variant of the Eon.
Hyundai’s is aiming to sell 1.5 lakhs of the by end 2012. That’s roughly 12,500 units a month. The target looks quite realistic. The Eon is a global model and soon will be exported to other countries.
