Nissan Sunny launched starts @ 5.78 lakh rupees

Nissan launched the new Sunny Sedan in India. The car is launched in 3 variants XE, XL and XV. Nissan has sold no less that 16 million units of all Sunny generations around the world and wants to to garner 8 percent of the global auto market by 2016.

Nissan Sunny prices:

Nissan Sunny XE – 5.78 lakh rupees

Nissan Sunny XL – 6.88 lakh rupees

Nissan Sunny XV – 7.68 lakh rupees

By the end of 2012, there will be 100 dealers around India. Nissan also announced 24×7 roadside assistance in 1,500 cities and towns for the Sunny. The Nissan Sunny Sedan comes with a 1.5 Liter petrol engine outputting 97 Bhp and 134 NM.

The Nissan Sunny Sedan is built on the famed Renault-Nissan V-platform, the same versatile platform on which the Micra Hatchback also is based on and will be produced at Nissan’s Orgadam plant of Chennai. Bookings open today with deliveries scheduled to commence from October 3rd.
